While being fortunate enough to own more than one vehicle is a blessing, there is also one major problem that comes with it and that is a lack of storage space. I currently own two snowmobiles, two trucks and a motorcycle but only have a two car garage. This might not sound like a big problem but what happens is I wind up having to keep unused vehicles outside despite sometimes awful weather conditions which causes damage to said vehicles. If you find it worthwhile to spend the extra money to insure protection then you can get a top of the line model in the $300 range. The bang for your buck is undeniable.
What is even better is that for every vehicle type out there, you can find a protective cover for it. ATV covers? Check. Do you need a snowmobile cover or motorcycle cover? Check. How about boat covers and RV covers? Yup, they make those too. Pretty much whatever kind of vehicle you can imagine there is a cover made that will protect your valuable investment and help you keep your repair costs way down.
My only complaint is that I did not realize the value in vehicle covers earlier. I could have saved so much money over the long run instead of paying mechanics and repair shops to fix up my auto collection.
