Berkeley Anderson – Ed Benedict

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

You may recognize Berkeley from some of my videos in the past. A few months ago he was skating at the Department of Skateboard and ended up spiral fracturing his left shin bone. He has been off his board ever since and his injury has been taking quite some time to heal. I figured I would upload these clips so he can look forward to getting back on his board and to let you guys know to keep an eye for Berkeley in the future. Enjoy!

Get well soon Berk!

What is your opinion on the U.S. federal lawsuit from Milwaukee against the Pope and the Vatican?

Thursday, May 20th, 2010

AP article if you’re interested:
"A federal lawsuit alleges that Pope Benedict XVI and senior Vatican officials covered up allegations of child sexual abuse against a Wisconsin priest who is accused of molesting at least 200 deaf children from 1950 to 1975.

The lawsuit filed Thursday in Milwaukee by St. Paul, Minn., attorney Jeff Anderson says the unidentified plaintiff was a student at a suburban Milwaukee school for the deaf and an alleged victim of abuse by the Rev. Lawrence Murphy.

The lawsuit says the accuser, who is from Illinois, sent two letters to the Vatican in 1995 reporting the abuse and asking for help but he received no response.

The lawsuit seeks the release of confidential Vatican files detailing clergy abuse allegations and unspecified monetary damages."

http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5h_l0HtfJc-Jw9Q-CWAxTBrUGLaYwD9F86T2O0

The Vatican has responded calling it a publicity stunt.

Do you think it’s justifiable or wrong? Should American citizens have a right to file a lawsuit against the Pope and Vatican?

"The Vatican has responded calling it a publicity stunt."

The Vatican would, since they have no shame and no soul (metaphorically speaking). I think it’s ABOUT FUCKING TIME. Why would it be wrong…? No, you know what’s wrong? The Connecticut diocese advocating for not getting rid of the statute of limitations on child sex crimes since they’re bankrupt the church. Nevermind about the victims, nevermind about all the OTHER children raped by people other than priests.

"The letter says the bill, now pending in the legislature, would put "all Church institutions, including your parish, at risk," and warns that it could lead to bankruptcy, threaten the assets of parishes even without a history of abuse, and "would undermine the mission of the Catholic Church in Connecticut."

"The bottom line is that this is terrible public policy, discriminatory by its nature, and a huge threat to us all," says the letter, signed by Mansell, Bishop William E. Lori of the Bridgeport diocese, and Bishop Michael R. Cote of Norwich.

"We must stop this bill now," the letter says. The bishops ask parishioners to contact their representatives "TODAY!!!"

What does the Pope think of Jehovah’s witnesses? Please read..a surprise?

Sunday, May 16th, 2010

(By Markus Mannheim The Canberra Times vol 21.08.2005)

He may be the spiritual head of the world’s largest Christian church, but a cousin of Pope Benedict the XVI says that he is still a naughty boy to her.

Steffie Brzakovic, 78, of Cooma, received a call from her famous first cousin shortly after his election in a papal conclave in April.

It was the first time she had heard from him in more than 50 years.

Mrs. Brzakovic, who was raised in the southern Germany city of Weilheim before moving to Australia in 1956, said she remembered Joseph Ratzinger as a young boy who was often up to no good.

"He was everywhere he shouldn’t [have] been, she recalled yesterday, shaking her head. "When I think today of what we did, it’s a wonder that [we are] alive."

When she received the phone call three months ago she first thought it was a prank. It wasn’t until His Holiness told her it was "Ratzinger Pepi", referring to his childhood nickname, that she realized who was on the other end.

"I said, ‘Are you the Pope?’ and he [replied]. ‘But for you I am still Ratzinger Pepi’."

Mrs. Brzakovic was raised as a Roman Catholic, but became a Jehovah’s Witness in the 1970’s.

She said that while her religious differences with her family had caused frustration, the Pope had encouraged her for following her faith.

"He told me that ‘You are doing the work that we should do’," she said, referring to her church’s missionary work. "He said, ‘You have halls that are not too big, but they are full. We have cathedrals, churches, chapels and they are empty’."

Mrs. Brzakovic is spending this weekend at a Jehovah’s Witness convention in Canberra with about 3000 district worshippers.

Best regards,

Anderson
didn’t say it has to affect you. Just making a point

I think he respects us…He said we are doing what they should be doing….

Sue, your bio said you’ve been Catholic for 55 years so you should be well familiar with duplicity….you, perhaps deliberately, misstated that this was a Witness article, and your link takes us to a Witness site.

It was an article from a verifiable source and it was featured on a Witness site…it was not a Witness manufactured article, as you tried to imply…

Please try to be a bit more honest next time, ok?..It is the Christian way, right?..Thanks…

Hey Vot, you’ll love this re: ‘teeth’–
Check your old Rev. book, the one published in 1988, Chap 35, par 21……

Oh well, I’ll just go ahead and copy it here…remember, this is a 20 year old book…

21 Yes, the nations will use the scarlet-colored wild beast, the United Nations, in destroying Babylon the Great. They do not act on their own initiative, for Jehovah puts it into their hearts “even to carry out their one thought by giving their kingdom to the wild beast.” When the time comes, the nations will evidently see the need to strengthen the United Nations. They will give it teeth, as it were, lending it whatever authority and power they possess so that it can turn upon false religion and fight successfully against her “until the words of God will have been accomplished.” Thus, the ancient harlot will come to her complete end. And good riddance to her!

John Paul II delayed punishing abusive priest:

WASHINGTON (AFP) – Pope Benedict XVI and his predecessor John Paul II both repeatedly delayed defrocking a priest who abused young boys and girls in California, The New York Times reported Saturday.
A series of letters released by attorney Jeff Anderson to AFP Friday showed repeated misgivings concerning the conduct of California priest Stephen Kiesle raised by senior officials from the Oakland diocese during the early 1980s.
John Cummins, the former bishop of Oakland, California asked that he be defrocked in 1981. But four years later, the future Pope Benedict XVI, then a top Vatican official, said the case needed more time and that the final decision should consider "the good of the Universal Church."
Cummins said the Vatican was very reluctant at the time to dismiss priests because so many were abandoning the priesthood.
The late pope John Paul II also "really slowed down the process and made it much more deliberate," Cummins told the Times.
Cummins sent a letter to the Vatican in June 1981 petitioning his superiors to defrock Kiesle, citing a 1978 court case where he had pleaded no contest to abusing six children aged between 11 and 13, according to the court documents obtained by AFP.
A further letter sent by Cummins in February 1982 to then-Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger — who at the time was responsible for enforcing Roman Catholic doctrine and went on to become Pope Benedict XVI in 2005 — again urged Kiesle to be defrocked.
"It is my conviction that there would be no scandal if this petition were granted," Cummins wrote, warning there "might be greater scandal to the community if Father Kiesle were allowed to return to the active ministry."
Kiesle was eventually defrocked in 1987. He later worked as a youth coordinator at a parish in Pinole, northern California for eight months, said Anderson, who represented two of Kiesle’s victims in a civil action against the Oakland Diocese.
Are they digging their own grave or what?

"Are they digging their own grave or what?"

They dug the grave for Valid Catholicism in 1958, with the election of the Freemason Roncalli.
The burial took place ten years later when the Sacramental matter and form was invalidated.

But when infiltration is gradual, over ten or more years, one generation at least grows up in the
"new" morality and have no clue as to the disaster, in fact they will vehemently deny it and fight
those who defend Catholic Truth and the True Sacraments. The "new" generation get lots of
support from priests who have apostatized and have been "retrained" to "understand the
doctrine differently." All priests in the 1980’s were compelled to attend "retraining". Er, make
that brainwashing.

"Digging" is not the correct word. Obliterating is what is being done. Was done. Look up the
excommunicant Marxist Teilhard de Chardin, S.J., the vehicle of the Jesuits who promoted the
infiltration of the seminaries with undoctrinal teachings, thereby violating every papal predecessor.

Also it shouldn’t be too hard for anyone to read original papal encyclicals and modern ones and
see the shocking difference.
